No Room for Laxity
The Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) has accelerated the activities to protect the state and social property as well as the people’s lives and properties from various natural disasters allowing no room for the slightest laxity.
In particular, in order to cope with the hastened rainy season in our country due to El Niño, the DPRK RCS ensures that its disaster response teams stay on high alert and respond to disaster-prone abnormal climate in a more effective and appropriate manner.
The DPRK RCS engaged the RC volunteers actively in monitoring, evacuation, relief and rescue, and other various activities organized by the local government authorities.
