International Children’s Day Marked in DPRK
Children in the DPRK greeted the International Children’s Day with delight on June 1.
Nurseries, kindergartens, baby homes and children’s homes across the country were filled with happy children, their parents, and teachers.
Children’s art performances and sports games took place in kindergartens, nurseries, baby homes and children’s homes - all decorated with stringed miniature flags, colourful balloons and flowers along with the slogans; “We Are the Happiest in the World!” and “We are Happy!”
Cute little children singing, dancing and playing musical instruments were added pleasure of the day.
Seen on the faces were joy and optimism of children growing up happily under the warm care of the motherly Party.
Shops, restaurants, parks and pleasure grounds across the country were filled with peals of laughter as children were enjoying themselves with their parents.
